Free posture exercise videos

These 43 videos all say their aim is better posture: strengthening the upper back and the muscles between the shoulder blades, opening a tight chest and hip flexors, freeing the neck and mid-back, and learning to sit and stand tall. They come from physiotherapists, a bone-health charity and qualified pilates and yoga teachers, and each one was checked against the video itself.

Many physiotherapists now say there is no single “correct” posture: changing position often, and keeping your back and shoulders strong and supple, matters more than holding one position (Slater and colleagues, JOSPT 2019). A short routine most days and a movement break if you sit a lot are a good start.
