- Warm-up: reach down and float the arms up to greet the sun, pressing the light into your body. 0:04
- Put on a sweater and take it off, then let autumn leaves float slowly down. 1:11
- Line and texture: draw a circle and throw texture in, a solid line out and dotted back, then a curve. 3:36
- Dance the lines to music, all on one side, then the other, then both arms together. 5:17
- Feet: rise onto the ball and open the top of the foot, then three heel drops. 8:03
- Salsa step: step out, drop the other heel and come together, 1, 2, 3, hold, to the front and side. 8:33
- Arms: reach up one at a time, then both into big arm, elbow and shoulder circles, then reverse. 9:39
- Put the footwork, salsa and arm circles together to the music. 10:40
- Addams Family dance: snap or clap with the theme, then ball-heel walks with monster hands. 14:54
- Dance it: snaps together, the da-da part, then free claps, with heel-toe walks in between. 17:40
- Flamenco kitchen: wrist gestures to grind peppers, scoop, sprinkle spices and fan to an okay sign. 19:14
- Dance the flamenco kitchen to the music, rolling the wrists as you cook. 21:56
- Cool-down to music: put on a sweater, stretch the legs and reach up to the light. 24:59
The steps are a summary in our words, checked against the video — the coach shows every move.
Form cues from the coach
- Keep the arm circles small if you like; they don't have to be big
- Snap or clap for the Addams Family theme; either works
- If the flamenco hand roll is tricky, just get in the mood and finish with the okay sign
