Study & Train — Accredited Courses to Work in Healthcare, Mental Health & Metabolic Health, Worldwide

Want to work in healthcare — as a doctor, psychiatrist, nurse, dietitian or nutritionist, diabetes educator, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, occupational or speech therapist, pharmacist, psychologist, counsellor, social worker, peer worker, addiction worker or sleep technologist — or to specialise in metabolic health, obesity, lifestyle medicine or ketogenic therapy? This chapter lists the official places to find a legitimate course, wherever you live. Wherever possible each listing is the regulator, accreditation body or government register that publishes the list of approved programmes: those lists outlast any single course or college, and checking one is how you know a qualification can lead to registration. Start with the first category to explore health careers and check that a course is approved, try free training from health organisations, then find the accredited route for your profession. Rules differ from country to country — a course accredited in one may not lead to registration in another, and some credentials are voluntary — so each listing says what its accreditation means. Listings are information, not endorsements — check fees, entry requirements and accreditation with the provider before you enrol. Every page was checked twice before it was added and opened again in a browser.
