Step by step 10
Tap a time to watch that step in the video.
- Stance and numbers: right foot back if right-handed; odd numbers are lead-hand punches, even numbers rear-hand. 1:36
- Jab-cross and slips: step into the jab, bring the back hip round on the cross, head still, guard up. 2:08
- Lead hook and lead uppercut (3-5), then ducks and rolls, letting the legs lower your body. 4:02
- Rear uppercut (6): turn off the back hip and lead foot, guard closed and core braced. 5:47
- Duck, step left or right, plant and throw the rear uppercut, hands staying up. 6:36
- Step in about a shoe length with jab-cross, step back with hook-cross; turn your body around a still head. 7:52
- Add a duck as you step in, then hook-cross; don't step too far, and keep the hands up. 8:58
- Step left for lead uppercut-cross, step right for rear uppercut-hook, then add a duck. 10:08
- 30-second intervals: jab-rear hook, slips with jab-cross, then a five-punch uppercut combo. 11:27
- Finish with 30 seconds of footwork, moving around with any simple combos you like. 13:38
