Step by step 12

Tap a time to watch that step in the video.

  1. Warm-up: march, then basic steps on the bench with tap changes, corner taps, kicks, leg curls and knee lifts. 1:02
  2. Stretch: toe taps and heel presses on the bench, calf and hamstring stretches each side, then back and chest. 5:10
  3. Combination: basic steps building to V steps, with the right foot leading, then the left. 8:50
  4. Add knee-up corners and three-knee repeaters, standing tall and keeping your balance. 11:36
  5. Add the L step: lift, lift and travel back along the bench; tapping instead is fine. 13:45
  6. Full combination from the top: V step, knee-up corners, knee repeaters and L step, each side leading. 15:22
  7. Add turn steps across the bench, leading right, then left. 19:40
  8. Full routine from the top with the turn steps added, both sides. 21:47
  9. Leg work on and off the step: lunge backs, straddle down and up, and side lunges. 27:24
  10. Easier finish: basic steps with knee-up, leg-curl, kick and light tap corners. 31:25
  11. Cool-down: toe taps and heel presses, then calf, hamstring and front-of-thigh stretches on the bench, each side. 35:04
  12. Back, chest, shoulder, triceps and biceps stretches, then a quad stretch holding the step. 38:38
