  1. Set-up: feet hip-width and toes forward, stand tall, then take a long stride keeping the feet hip-width. 0:37
  2. Lower straight down, then straighten the front leg and use your glutes to rise, without leaning. 1:16
  3. Mistake: the front knee caving in; keep hip, knee and ankle in one line all the way. 1:44
  4. Mistake: shifting forward onto the front leg; drop straight down with tall posture instead. 2:05
  5. Mistake: losing posture by sitting back or leaning forward as you lower. 2:33
  6. Once your form is solid, add load: dumbbells, a barbell, or shopping bags at home. 2:51

The steps are a summary in our words, checked against the video — the coach shows every move.
